Scott Amendoeira

Founder & Director of Operations

Construction was always the destination. Growing up in a second-generation building family, Scott spent years learning the craft from the ground up — how homes are actually built, what separates a good job from a great one, and why the experience of building matters as much as the finished result. But before returning to construction full-time, he spent 7 years in banking and wealth management, working directly with high-net-worth clients on decisions that demanded the highest levels of trust, transparency, and professional judgment.

That combination doesn't exist anywhere else in this market — and it shapes everything about how Tecno Group operates. High-net-worth clients building or renovating a home at this level aren't just making a construction decision. They're making one of the largest financial and personal investments of their lives. Scott understands that — not abstractly, but from years of sitting across the table from clients navigating exactly that kind of decision. He knows how they think, what they expect, and what it takes to make them feel genuinely confident throughout a complex, high-stakes process.

On the construction side, he personally oversees every project from pre-construction planning through final delivery — bringing the same structured, transparent approach to site management that high-performance clients expect from every professional they work with. As a Phius-certified builder, he is one of a small number of contractors in the GTA qualified to execute passive house and net-zero residential projects to specification, working alongside architects and interior designers who hold their builder to an exacting standard.

What drives him is the intersection of those two worlds — where genuine craftsmanship meets the kind of client experience that people in wealth management spend entire careers trying to get right. At Tecno Group, those aren't separate things. They're the same standard, applied to every project.

Jason Amendoeira

Founder & Chief Financial Officer

Raised in a family of builders, Jason learned the trades from the ground up, developing the kind of hands-on site knowledge that only comes from decades of field experience. He understands, at a practical and personal level, exactly what every decision on a job site costs — in time, in materials, and in quality.

Before founding Tecno Group, Jason spent years managing operations for a large sub-trade company, where he developed a precise understanding of how complex residential projects are coordinated, scheduled, and delivered at scale. That operational experience — overseeing the moving parts of large, multi-trade jobs from the inside — gave him a perspective most builders simply don't have: not just how a project looks from the top, but how it actually functions at every layer beneath it.

That foundation is reflected in everything about how Tecno Group is run. As the firm's CFO, Jason personally owns the financial integrity of every project. Budgets are built honestly, tracked in real time, and protected with a rigour that comes from years of managing complex scopes where cost control and scheduling precision are non-negotiable. There are no surprises. When a number is given, it is defended.

Jason is the person on every project who has already thought three steps ahead before the question is asked — who has reviewed the drawings, stress-tested the budget, and identified the conflict before it becomes a cost. Analytical by instinct and detail-oriented by discipline, he holds the dual role of builder and financial steward on every project, without compromising either standard.

His clients don't always see all of that work. That's by design. What they experience is confidence — in the numbers, in the process, and in the certainty that someone with deep, firsthand expertise is watching every detail on their behalf.
